Cistus laurifolius L. Bark

	Flower colour: white
	Flower diameter: 5.5cm
	Height & Spread: 2m x 2m
	Habit: upright, then sprawling

	Notes: very hardy, vigorous; attractive cinnamon bark (see photo above right)
	Subspecies: subsp. atlanticus, from North Africa, is smaller in stature, but with very long inflorescences (see below). It may not be quite so hardy.
