Cistus x cyprius Lam.

	Parentage: C. ladanifer x C. laurifolius
	Flower colour: white (may be blotched)
	Flower diameter: 8cm
	Height & Spread: 2m x 5m
	Habit: upright, then widely sprawling

	Notes; hardy; a very good garden plant. Foliage leaden-grey in cold weather.
	Variants: unblotched clones are called var. albiflorus; var ellipticus has C. ladanifer var. sulcatus as one parent.
	Cultivars: *var. ellipticus* 'Elma'** is more compact; unblotched petals.
